How it works

Five steps from the itinerary to a relaxed return home.

Taking out travel insurance with me isn't a form – it's a short, well-organised process, at the end of which you know exactly what to expect. Here's what it looks like, step by step.

Request a quote with your itinerary

Request a quote with your trip details: where, when, with whom, with what activities? The itinerary-based needs assessment takes 10-20 minutes – everything else follows from it.

Choosing the package and limits

Limits sized to the destination country, add-ons matched to the activities, clarifying the cancellation (storno) question – several insurers' quotes in one clear table.

Taking out cover

Taking out the chosen cover – typically possible even on the day of departure. The policy and the assistance hotline number land on your phone, along with a final check.

If something goes wrong: the assistance hotline

In trouble abroad, the first call is to the insurer's non-stop assistance hotline: it arranges, interprets, pays. Our "if something goes wrong" card sums up what to do.

Matters after returning home

Claiming for costs paid abroad, submitting documents – and if a case gets stuck or disputed, as a broker I help the client, where I can.

At the start of the process, the channel for requesting a quote is flexible: write, book a time, or run the numbers yourself first – what matters is that we start from the itinerary. The decision is the client's at every step.

What happens in the needs assessment?

We go through seven questions: where, when, for how long, how many people, with what activities, with how much prepaid value, and with what health background are you travelling? The question set is public – you can go through it yourself in the assessment article. The cover follows from the answers: the limit, the add-ons, the format (individual, family, group), and the cancellation cover.

What do you get in the quote table?

Competing quotes from several insurers, in the same structure: medical limit, medical repatriation, assistance, sport cover, cancellation cover, baggage, deductibles – following our nine-row comparison table, with strengths and weaknesses. There's no secret to how it's built: the methodology is public on the site, and the decision is yours.

What happens if something goes wrong?

The first step is always the insurer's assistance hotline – reachable day and night, in Hungarian too. Our "if something goes wrong" card condenses the whole routine onto one screen: what to report, what to photograph, what not to do. After returning home, the claim article guides you through submission – and if the case were to get stuck: this is where I step in.

Request a quote for your trip – the first step takes 20 minutes.

Free of charge, no obligation – with a package shaped to your itinerary and limits that match your destination.
